Crane Type
   Crane Type
   Your choices are...
Bench / Cart Mount       A bench or cart mount crane is designed to operate in small workspaces.  Single hand operation is typical.  Some bench or cart mount cranes are capable of precision positioning.
Jib Crane - Wall Mount       Jib cranes comprise a horizontal beam (jib) upon which a shuttle or hoist is mounted.  These are mounted into the side of a wall. Cantilevered jib cranes can incorporate full or partial rotation.
Jib Crane - Floor Mount       Jib cranes comprise a horizontal beam (jib) upon which a shuttle or hoist is mounted.  Floor or foundation mounted jib cranes can have higher load ratings than wall-mount cranes. Cantilevered jib cranes can incorporate full or partial rotation.
Davit Crane       Davit cranes consist of an angled beam which pivots over a vertical axis. They can have fixed or adjustable booms, and are available in portable as well as stationary units.
Gantry Crane       Gantry cranes have a horizontal beam supported by end supports or legs.  These can vary in size from small workstation cranes to very large, heavy construction cranes.
Bridge / Overhead Crane       Overhead crane style in which the horizontal load carrying beam is attached at the end to wall columns (overhung) or the underside of the ceiling (underhung).
Mobile / Truck Mount Crane       Cranes designed to be moved or driven around to different locations.
Boom Crane       Category of crane that uses a large structure or pole (boom) to support a suspended cable for load attachment.
Tower Crane       Large load crane, resembling a jib crane in that it frequently has a cantilever boom, but typically for very heavy-duty applications.
Ship / Deck Crane       Includes cranes designed for shipboard mounting and loading of ships, freighters, etc.
Stacker Crane       Similar to a bridge crane except that, instead of a hoist, it uses a mast with forks or a platform to handle unit loads.
Other       Other unlisted, specialized, or proprietary crane styles.
