   Gain Horn Antennas       Gain horn antennas are used for the transmission and reception of microwave signals. They are more sophisticated versions of the antennas used for high frequency applications such as spacecraft, radio astronomy, or to feed other types of antennas.  They can operate effectively with a dielectric coating. Feed horns, conical horns, rectangular waveguide apertures, slot antennas, slotted waveguides and pyramidal horns are types of antennas that fit into this area. A lens horn antenna is another variation that uses lens elements to collimate divergent energy and prevent it from spreading in undesired directions. Lens horn antennas are applied in secure military communication systems, short range / vehicle anti-collision radar, point-to-point radio links, antenna testing and radiation monitoring systems. 
   Isolators       Isolators permit a signal to pass in one direction while providing high isolation to reflected energy in the reverse direction. 
   Phase Shifters       Phase shifters are two-port waveguide modules used to alter the phase of an output signal in response to an external signal. A variable phase shifter changes the output signal phase by applying a variable control signal. There are two broad types of variable phase shifters: analog and digital. Analog phase shifters change the output phase by means of an analog signal (usually voltage). A digital phase shifter uses a digital signal to change the output phase. 
   Waveguide Polarizers       Polarizers change wave polarization, the orientation (i.e. time-varying direction and amplitude) of the electric field vector. 
   Pressurizing Sections       Pressurizing sections are waveguide components used to inject or measure air or gases in a waveguide system. Normally, they have a pressure gauge attached to the unit.

For example, they can be used with waveguide tees as a variable shunt for tuning or impedance matching applications. They are also necessary for tuning high performance reflectometer systems. In addition, they are valuable for establishing reference impedance for the calibration and error analysis of waveguide measurement systems.
