About Spectrum Sensors and Controls

Business Type: Manufacturer

Spectrum Sensors & Controls Inc., a subsidiary of Spectrum Control, Inc., designs and manufactures precision position and temperature sensors. The Precision Position Sensors Operation, formerly JDK Controls, is located in Grass Valley, CA and was founded in 1983, while the Advanced Thermal Products Operation, formally Advanced Thermal Products, was founded in 1985 and is located in St. Marys, PA. Spectrum Sensors has low cost, world class manufacturing centers in both China and Mexico to provide their customers with application specific solutions worldwide.

Precision Position Sensors and Transducers - Spectrum Sensors & Controls precision potentiometer & position sensor product line features hollow shaft, rotary, linear, motorized, and fader/angular arm designs, as well as element segments and wiper assemblies. Spectrum’s Precision Position Sensors offer high reliability and the longest life (l00 million cycles min.) with precise sensing (0.1% linearity). All Precision Position Sensor products are designed for demanding environments such as High G shock, vibration, extreme moisture and temperature ranges and Spectrum will customize any of these products for specific applications. Spectrum’s precision position sensors provide high performance at low cost.Spectrum Sensors and Controls
