Miramar, FL - CITEL SURGE PROTECTION announces it's P8AX Series is the first coaxial surge protector from a major SPD manufacturer to achieve the UL497E Coaxial Surge Protection Standard. The UL497E is the only true coaxial SPD standard (previously UL497B or UL497C have been used to by mfg's for their coaxial SPD) and incorporates performance surge testing, maximum power and environmental ratings. The P8AX Series is a 20kA 8/20us surge hanlding SPD available in all connector types including BNC, F, N, SMA, TNC, 7/16 DIN or any combination of the above.
