Within the Integral XT device line, a total of four process thermostats, which were designed as pure heating thermostats, will be available as from October 2012. Typical applications of the thermostats include distillation at high temperatures and tempering of high-temperature chemical syntheses. The four device types consist of two performance classes, each of which will be offered with and without water counter-cooling. Thanks to their optimized constructions, the Integral XT high temperature thermostats take up little space in the room and can be put to use flexibly. The XT high temperature thermostats permit a maximum operating temperature of 320 °C. The thermostats are operated using the Command remote control, which we already know from the other XT models. The removable operating unit with graphical LCD provides ease-of-use and quick settings changes. The powerful pump can be regulated in eight different levels, supplying a maximum pressure of 2.9 bar and a flow rate of up to 45 L/min. High pressure is particularly advantageous when using hoses with smaller diameters. The two models, XT 4 H and XT 4 HW, have a heating capacity of 3.5 kW. The XT 8 H and the XT 8 HW models are equipped with an 8 kW heating system. With the XT 4 HW and the XT 8 HW models, water counter-cooling with a cooling capacity of up to 16 kW makes a swift cooldown across the entire temperature range possible. For higher temperatures, the high-temperature thermostats of the Ultra USH device line are still available. Their maximum operating temperature range is 400 °C.
