All Stainless Nickle Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers
There is no copper at all in the SWEP all-stainless range. The copper filler has been replaced by a special nickel-based brazing material that also contains chromium, silicon, boron and other substances. The base material, channel plates, cover plates, connections, etc, are the same as for copper-brazed CBEs.

The Minex is a hybrid. It's not brazed like a CBE (compact brazed heat exchanger). It has the gasket of a PHE (plate and frame heat exchanger), but it's small, so it does not need the typical support frame of a PHE. The gaskets and plates and can be made from various materials.
