The latest designs of surface mount chip capacitors available from leading UK passive component manufacturer, Syfer Technology, can now be supplied with traditional tin/lead terminations. The devices are destined for equipment in specific industry sectors, including military/aerospace, space and automotive, that are currently exempt from the RoHS directive. (read more)

The X8R dielectric will operate from -55°C to +150°C, with a maximum capacitance change ±15% (without applied voltage). The devices are available in sizes 0805 to 2225, with voltage ranges from 25V to 200V and capacitance values from 1nF to 1.8μF. (read more)

A breakthrough in low fire ceramic chip manufacture has enabled Syfer to launch its highest capacitance devices ever. Increased capacitance values are available in the 16V, 25V and 50/63V series of multilayer chip capacitors. A brand new 10V range has also been launched, based on X5R dielectric. (read more)

Developments in ceramics materials and manufacturing technology have led to significant extensions in Syfer's High Voltage multilayer capacitor range, in some case meaning a doubling of capacitance, or more. For example, a 1206 1.5kV capacitor was available up to 2.7nF, but has now been increased to 10nF, and an 1812 1kV has been extended from 56nF to 100nF. (read more)

Syfer can now offer a range of SMD filters for frequencies up to 5.5GHz. Custom designed and manufactured devices can be offered for low pass, band pass, high pass or band stop filter applications using our LTCC technology. (read more)

Syfer Technology's E07 range of high current 3 terminal filter chips has recently been extended. The filters which are designed to block electromagnetic interference (EMI) emanating from high speed circuitry and prevent the propagation of high frequency noise along power lines. (read more)
