Bel Power Inc. was formed in 2001 to develop a portfolio of DC/DC converters for powering low-voltage silicon such as high-speed memory, microprocessors and digital signal processors. Today, they manufacture and market both low and high power converters. Low power devices include vertically mounted, SIP converters designed to minimize board space, as well as low profile, surface mount DIP products intended for high volume, automated manufacturing. High power products include voltage regulator modules (VRMs) targeted at applications requiring power for high-end processors. These VRMs provide a wide input range from as low as 3V up to 15V with optimal efficiency over the entire range.
