Gladiator Technologies, Inc. (GTI) is a fast growing designer and manufacturer of high performance MEMS inertial sensors and systems for demanding commercial aerospace and other commercial applications. Their engineering team has more than 100 years of cumulative experience in designing and manufacturing MEMS and other inertial technology-based inertial sensors and systems.
Engineering
Key members of GTI's engineering team have more than 65 patents in MEMS, inertial guidance and other navigation technologies. Their engineering team has both a deep technological understanding of inertial sensors and systems as well as a wide breadth of experience in multiple inertial technologies. These technologies range from very high performance inertial and space grade FOG's, RLG's and Quartz Accelerometers to tactical grade systems including FOG's, RLG's, DTG's, Resonating Beam Accelerometers and both Silicon and Quartz gyros and accelerometers as well as low cost automotive MEMS sensors. Their system experience includes IMU's, INS and INS/GPS system employing the complete range of both high performance and low cost inertial technologies listed above.
–All of their MEMS sensors and systems undergo a thorough design process meeting demanding aerospace standards and requirements. GTI's design capabilities and manufacturing methods include:
Mechanical Design

Manufacturing
GTI's management team includes extensive experience in high volume manufacturing, automated test equipment and processes as well as program management. In addition to a COTS philosophy combined with lean manufacturing and six sigma, they employ a modular approach to their products to realize synergies enjoyed from economies of scale.
Their printed circuit boards (PCB's) are manufactured to aerospace and MIL-SPEC quality standards and go through 100% X-Ray. MIL-SPEC quality compliance can be obtained, but must be specified prior to order due to higher manufacturing and product cost. PCB manufacturing utilizes a multi-up panelized design, which enables automated pick and place at the circuit card assembly (CCA) level of manufacture. This enables GTI to produce high volumes at low cost and obtain very high yields of their sensors and digital electronics.
All final assembly, test and calibration of all of GTI's sensors and systems are done in-house at GTI. Fully automated assembly, testing and calibration is utilized throughout GTI's operations.
Quality
GTI's management team has prior experience implementing ISO9001 and AS9100 in multiple aerospace manufacturing facilities. GTI has contracted BSI as their Registrar and implementation partner for ISO9001 and AS9100.
