Based on over 40 years of technological expertise in membrane development & manufacturing, Membrana produces separation membranes for medical and industrial applications. Membrana Filtration is a business unit of Membrana that encompasses the industrial products which include three primary product focuses.


First, we develop and manufacture Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactors which have become the technology standard for liquid degassing in many industries.

We also forward integrate capillary membrane into Liqui-Flux® Modules which are used for ultrafiltration and microfiltration.

Finally we manufacture flat sheet, capillary and tubular filtration membranes that are integrated by our customers into filtration modules. 

Membrana began as an industrial pioneer with large-scale production of membranes for separation in medical industries. Membrana's filtration group has continually increased its product portfolio in ultrafiltration and microfiltration membranes and devices. Membrana is also the developer and manufacturer of Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactors that are widely used for liquid gasification and degasification around the world. Additionally, Membrana OEM membranes are used extensively in liquid filtration products within ultrafiltration and microfiltration systems.
