MIL-RAM Technology, Inc.
offers over a half century of combined specific experience in toxic, combustible,
and oxygen gas detection.
Mil-Ram Technology was founded
in 1990 by Gary A. Milco and Carlos B. Ramirez, and has been on an accelerated
growth pattern since, reflecting the positive experience of the fast growing
list of users of the Tox-Array sensors, controllers and transmitters. This
list includes ARCO, Boeing, GE, TRW, Borden, Olin Chemicals, Boise Cascade,
Dow Chemical, General Motors, British Petroleum, U.S. Navy, Weyerhaeuser,
Eli Lilly, and DuPont, to name just a few.
Mil-Ram Technology's wide
range of dependable sensors, controllers and transmitters are designed to
monitor and detect hazardous gases, toxic and combustible as well as oxygen
deficiency. Although directed primarily to the field of personal safety and
environmental protection, the line also finds applications in many areas
of process control.
The
Mil-Ram patented Tox-Array
sensors, developed by Gary Milco at Mil-Ram Technology, are the next generation
in the time-proven electrochemical gas detection technology. The chemically
selective sensors do not react with air, have no zero drift, are not sensitive
to changes in temperature, humidity or pressure, eliminating false alarms,
and stay awake when gas is absent. Response time is 30 seconds to ninety
percent and recovery is less than 15 seconds even when exposed to high gas
levels and have over three years no maintenance life for each factory charge.
