Saint-Gobain NorPro has developed into a major international supplier with a distinguished 100+-year history, starting from its humble beginnings as a backyard pottery producer in Akron, Ohio in 1859.   The company’s evolution started with U.S. Stoneware, then Norton Chemical Process Products (Norton Company), and now as Saint-Gobain NorPro (Saint-Gobain).

The company provides technology-driven ceramic solutions – material science knowledge, forming capabilities, and the ability to tailor materials to specific requirements.

  • MacroTrap® guard bed media is highly-macroporous ceramic media for the prevention of premature pressure drop rise caused by particulate deposition on catalyst and absorbent beds

  • Catalyst carriers developed in a wide range of materials in cooperation for each customer-specific need

  • Spray dried powders in various compositions and phases for slurry / fluidized bed reactor applications

  • Thermal and heat management media (HexPak™, AF38™, Snowflake™, Ty-Pak™, Norton™ saddles) for regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO) for new construction and revamps

The company operates seven world class manufacturing facilities in three countries – the most recent facility addition located in Guanghan, China.
