Hooks are load-transmitting components that are most often used in conjunction with chains and other equipment. Products are designated as eye hooks, clevis hooks, or grab hooks and are used to connect lifting and rigging attachments.
Industrial hoists are lifting and pulling devices that use a cable, rope, or chain to move or lift a load. Hoists are primarily used for vertical lifting, and usually have a feature for ceiling mounting such as a hook or trolley mount.
Lifting and rigging attachments are used on a crane or hoist between the hook and the item to be lifted. Items include sling release systems, product specific lifters, clamps and grapples.
Shackles are U-shaped pieces of metal secured with a pin or bolt across the opening, or hinged metal loops that are secured with a quick-release locking mechanism.
Tie downs and belt restraints are devices that are used to secure items during shipment or movement. Products include ratcheted tie downs, straps, elastic bungies, cargo restraint tapes and restraining belts.
