American Water Chemicals (AWC) is an international ISO 9001:2000 certified company dedicated to providing its clients with leading edge technology in membrane related water treatment programs and operational services.
The scientists at AWC are continuously involved in research and development to meet the ever changing requirements of the membrane treatment industry. As a result, AWC has repeatedly produced superior products to resolve the most challenging scaling, fouling and biofilm issues in both Brackish and Seawater systems.
AWC also offers a broad range of analytical and on-site services to identify the causes of operational problems. These include membrane autopsies, off-site membrane cleanings, individual membrane elements testing and evaluation, flat sheet membrane testing and an in house lab capable of providing a complete inorganic water analysis related to antiscalant selection and dosage determination for RO feedwater. Services provided at the customer’s site include pilot studies using AWC's pilot units, on-site cleaning with the help of their experienced service personnel and on-site hands-on training for operators using AWC products and services. AWC's engineers provide effective customized solutions to meet the specific needs of their individual clients.
For over a decade AWC has helped their customers worldwide to reduce their operating costs, eliminate hazardous acid dosing and reduce the frequency of their membrane cleanings. The company's RO / NF antiscalants and antifoulants and non-oxidizing biocides have eliminated or resolved issues related to calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate scaling, as well iron and silica fouling and membrane biofouling in Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration systems. Most recently, AWC has introduced cleaning chemicals for removal of severe organic foulants from Ultrafiltration (UF) and Microfiltration (MF) systems.
American Water Chemicals is fully committed to continuous product improvement, innovative solutions and superior customer support. |
