AC motor starters are used to turn-on and turn-off electric motors and motor-controlled equipment. They use solid-state or electromechanical technologies, and are designed for single-phase or three-phase motors.
Adhesive tapes and films temporarily or permanently join materials together.
Cable and electrical tapes consist of dielectric materials for splicing, wrapping and electrical insulation applications.
Circuit protection devices are used to protect electronic components from unwanted transients such as current and voltage surges, electrostatic discharge (ESD), lightning, spikes and other signals that can imperil the operation or damage the component.
Cloth tapes use a woven or nonwoven fabric backing that provides a high-strength material compared to film or paper tapes.
DC motor starters combine a controller (most often a contactor) with overload protection, allowing a motor or motor-controlled equipment to be turned on and off.
DC motors are most commonly used in variable speed and torque applications. They include brushless and gear motors, as well as servomotors.
Die cutters and die cutting machines convert web or sheet materials into shapes. They are used to process woven cloth, non-woven textiles, and rubber sheets.
Diodes are electronic components that conduct electric current in only one direction, functioning as a one-way valve. Diodes are manufactured using semiconductor materials such as silicon, germanium or selenium and are used as voltage regulators, signal rectifiers, oscillators and signal modulators / demodulators.
Fuses protect electrical devices and components from overcurrents and short circuits that occur in improperly operating circuits.
Industrial presses use a ram to shear, punch, form or assemble metal or other material by means of cutting, shaping, or combination dies attached to slides.
Industrial tape is used for adhesive bonding, thread sealing, masking, packaging, wrapping, electrical insulation, ESD control and other specialized applications.
Masking tapes and films are used to block off areas on a surface where paints or coatings are not desired. The removable mask or masking tape should be removed promptly after the coating process.
Motor contactors are relays with large current capacity for connecting and disconnecting a motor from the power supply. Typically, motor contractors are multi-pole for control of all current carrying conductors.
Motor starters and contactors are motor-starting devices. They combine a contactor with overload protection and are designed for starting AC or DC motors.
Power rectifiers are electrical devices that convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). They are an integral part of telecom rectifiers for the telecommunications industry, and in battery chargers, DC power systems, and other power system devices.
Power supplies are devices that produce AC or DC power.  This grouping includes current sources, DC power supplies, AC-DC adapters, DC-DC converters, AC power sources, and DC-AC inverters.
Power transformers convert power-level voltages from one level or phase configuration to another.  They can include features for electrical isolation, power distribution, and control and instrumentation applications.
Rectifier diodes are designed for use in rectification circuits. Rectifiers are used to convert AC to DC.
Silicon controlled rectifiers (SCR) are four-layer (PNPN) thyristors with three terminals: an input control terminal (gate), an output terminal (anode), and a terminal common to both the input and output (cathode). SCRs are used mainly with high voltages and currents, often to control alternating current (AC) where the change of sign causes the device to switch off automatically.
Thyristors are a class of four-layer (PNPN) semiconductor devices that act as switches, rectifiers, or voltage regulators.
