M+P Labs is a full-service materials testing laboratory and consultancy specializing in material identification, failure analysis, and product performance/specification testing. Originally established in the 1920’s to support GE’s Schenectady businesses, power generation and others, M+P Labs became an independent laboratory in 1986. In addition to the Schenectady headquarters, a satellite location was established in Greenville, SC, in 2000. Our client base has continued to expand and includes a wide variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical devices, industrial components and construction, as well as manufacturers of adhesives, chemicals, high-tech metals, polymers, plastics, composites, ceramics, pulp and paper.
