OceanServer’s line of Intelligent Battery and Power System (IBPS) allow designers to add Smart rechargeable Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery power as an OEM component in computers, electronic equipment and electromechanical devices. IBPS modules provide a drop-in, scalable Lithium Ion battery system solutions for OEMs looking to dramatically reduce R&D costs and time to market. Once installed the IBPS acts as a complete AC/DC power supply providing clean regulated DC, sourced from Li-Ion battery packs, wall-outlet AC or external DC sources available on vehicles and ships. System designers can now easily create an isolated or portable battery backed-up device. If the AC wall power or external DC supply is lost or unplugged, the battery instantly switches in without interruption. The equipment is now portable or securely running in battery back-up mode. With external power restored, the attached battery packs recharge. OceanServer products utilize the same safety circuitry and low-cost battery cells found in laptop computers and ships with two Windows monitoring software programs. First time users can choose from three different evaluation kits to get started.
OceanServer also offers four solid state 3 - Axis Attitude Sensors for a variety of applications where size, functionality and cost are the keys to successful integration. The compasses can be connected via USB or RS232 Serial connection (or both in the case of the OS5000-US). OceanServer compass products provide precise heading, roll and pitch data ideal for rapid attitude measurement. |
