The optoNCDT 1750 is a powerful laser triangulation sensor which is used in high speed, precise measurements in industrial applications. optoNCDT 1420 laser sensors based on the triangulation measuring principle perform non-contact displacement, distance and position measurements. Due to their low weight combined with compact size, the optoNCDT 1420 sensors can be easily integrated into restricted installation spaces and are ideally suitable for applications where high accelerations occur e.g. on the robot arm or in pick-and-place machines. The high-performance optical system projects the small light spot sharply onto the measurement object which enables reliable detection of the smallest components.
Laser Class 1 Sensors
The new optoNCDT 1420 Class1 sensors enable measurements of sensitive materials such as substrates without causing any alterations of the target material.
High-Precision Blue Laser Displacement Sensor
The optoNCDT 2300-2DR high-precision laser-triangulation sensor is designed for highly dynamic measurements on reflective, shiny and transparent targets. The sensor is able to measure to nanometer resolution and can be mounted parallel to the measurement object, which greatly simplifies the installation process. An extremely small laser spot size enables the detection and measurement of very small objects.
The sensor is used i.e. in thickness measurements of flat glass, distance measurements on annealed glass and assembly monitoring of extremely small parts. The blue laser light is directly reflected onto the receiving optics by the measurement object. Unlike red laser light, the blue laser light does not penetrate the measurement object. In addition, the sensor stands out due to its unique compactness.
Tiny Targets and New Generation Laser Scanners
The laser scanners with blue laser line are used for multi-dimensional measurement on red-hot glowing metals as well as on (semi-)transparent and organic materials. While allowing higher stability, the blue laser light does not penetrate the measurement object due to the shorter wavelength of the blue-violet laser. The Micro-Epsilon laser profile scanners are adapted to applications in quality control, production processes and automation. They detect, measure and evaluate the profiles on different object surfaces. In the case of moving objects or a traversing sensor, it is also possible to obtain 3D measurement values.
