On-Demand Webinar:

NX CAE - Siemens PLM Software Webinar

Designs evolve throughout the product development process. Some changes originate with the design team – and when they do, analysis models must be updated to reflect the changes. In other cases, ideas for change may originate with the analysis team who need tools to modify geometry and close the loop back to design. Learn how modern CAE environments allow you to work more effectively with change and speed up product development.

Overview

Product engineers often have ideas for multiple design alternatives - alternatives they would like to simulate and evaluate depending on the results of analysis. Additionally, analysts have a constant need to keep their models up-to-date with the latest design content. Traditional CAE preprocessors limit the types of changes engineers can easily implement on their own. Furthermore, before simulating a design change, the analysis model must often be rebuilt from scratch. Attendees of this presentation will learn an easier approach, one based on NX CAE from Siemens PLM Software. When you build your analysis model in the NX integrated design-analysis environment, your analysis model is directly associated to its geometry... You can even associate NX CAE models with geometry from other CAD sources. Analysis specialists can easily modify geometry using direct modeling tools without having to be CAD experts. Discover how to easily update your entire analysis model, and speed up product development, at the click of a button.

Key Take-Aways

  • Understand why an integrated environment for CAD and CAE speeds up the design-analysis cycle
  • Learn how to quickly create and simulate design options on your own using geometry editing tools like synchronous technology
  • Discover how to synchronize CAE models with data from multiple CAD sources
  • Learn how to perform multiple types of analyses within one analysis tool
