The Power of a Tiny Crystal – ARMEX® Baking Soda Based Media

This presentation will cover the attributes, benefits and cost advantage of using ARMEX® Blast Media for surface preparation in the remanufacturing process of critical components. The inherent qualities of baking soda, including its relative softness, friability, and water solubility will be discussed, as well as the added value that ARMEX builds into its specially engineered line of 11 formulations. More details will be given regarding select products and their unique benefits to industry. Both dry soda blasting and wet slurry blasting options will be discussed. Particular attention will be given to specific end-user applications and the reason for their success including cost benefits. The presentation will demonstrate how ARMEX eliminates ingression issues from glass bead and plastic blast media in the remanufacturing process, and how use of the product can eliminate cleaning process bottlenecks while delivering a higher level of clean.
