A combination of photolithography and proprietary thin film process technology, complex 2-D and 3-D micro-structures with 1 um tolerances can be achieved to the custom specifications for our customers. Micron features in variety of materials Au, Cu, NiCo, or Ni are possible. Electroforming provides superior edge definition, dimensional control and near "optical" finishes are achievable. The two micro coils shown, *(part of a family of induction coils) each of these coils has a 4 metal layers of copper. The Micro-Flex Induction Coils are layer top of the other, with each coil having an overall width of 2.3 mm (0.090") and length of 4.24 mm (0.167"). Each coil has 44 turns. (read more)
