Measuring Electrical Conductivity
The electrical conductivity of nonferrous metals or non-magnetizable metals (e.g., Al, Cu, stainless steel) can be used to draw conclusions about the hardness and strength of heat-treated materials. Heat damage and material fatigue can be identified in this manner as well. The SIGMASCOPE® SMP10 can determine the electrical conductivity precisely and quickly. (read more) |
