Product News for Hydrophilic Wax
Qosina Hydrophobic & Hydrophilic Filters Qosina is pleased to announce the addition of two new Hydrophobic Filters (#28246 & #28247) and one Hydrophilic Filter (#28245). Equipped with a polypropylene housing, all three filters have a female luer lock inlet, a male luer slip outlet, and a 0.2 micron pore size. The Hydrophobic Filters are offered with a PTFE membrane and are available in 25 mm and 15 mm diameters and the Hydrophilic filter is available with a PES membrane and in a 25 mm diameter. The PTFE membrane is used... (read more)Browse Laboratory Filters Datasheets for Qosina Corp.
Hydrophilic & Hydrophobic Coatings for Optics ZC &R Coatings for Optics, a division of Abrisa Technologies, provides both hydrophilic and hydrophobic optical coatings for applications such as outdoor surveillance, camera windows, outdoor displays, marine displays, medical devices, and more. ZC &R's hydrophilic coatings reduce distortion by interacting positively with water, causing condensates to spread uniformly over the surface of the coated glass; sheeting water rather than forming droplets that scatter light. Perfect... (read more)Browse Coating Services Datasheets for Abrisa Technologies

Large Screen Printed Optics up to 56 " x 86 " of ±0.006" or ±0.15 mm. Minimum thickness for the smaller screen printing of 16" x 16" or 460 mm x 460 mm is 0.030" or 0.76 mm and maximum substrate thickness is 0.5" or 12.7 mm. Abrisa Technologies' screen printed optics can be combined with additional processes such as chemical strengthening, custom glass fabrication (cutting, edging, drilling, etc.) and the application of optical thin film coatings (AR, UV, ITO, IMITO, hydrophilic, hydrophobic, and oleophobic) to provide a integrated package... Stop Rust and Corrosion Before It Starts !! are formulated with a proprietary blend of waxes, metal wetting agents and corrosion rust inhibitors which penetrate into the pores of the metal preventing underfilm corrosion . No taste or odor is imparted to the water supply. For water storage tanks, we recommend coating thickness of 20-30 mils. Contractors who apply NO-OX-ID rust preventative coating usually give a 3-5 year unconditonal performance guarantee. How can they do this? They have over 60 years of first hand experience using NO-OX-ID's... (read more)Browse Cleaning Agents and Surface Treatments Datasheets for Sanchem, Inc.

Beat the Vitamin E TPGS Shortage . Because TPGS emulsifies with fats, it can be used in conjunction with fat-soluble drugs and nutrients to enhance their bioavailability. It is both hydrophilic and lipophilic to improve bioavailability and is easily incorporated into foods and beverages. As a water-soluble form of vitamin E, TPGS is used as a uniquely productive carrier in dietary supplement formulations.
