Jet Venturi Scrubbers
Jet Venturi scrubbers are particularly suited to gas flows which have a high turndown requirement. That is, where the gas flow varies. Since the water is pumped under pressure into the system with a high flow, variations in gas flow have very little impact on performance. Shop capacity up to 102,000 m³/hr (60,000 cfm). Dry flue gas systems use powdered lime, which is injected into the flue gas and then kept in contact with the gas so that it reacts with the sulfur dioxide and the vapor.
