I went on a site where I could download my modem drivers and when I directed the pci serial controller to them drivers, it said them weren't the right drivers. any other ideas?

Windows is detecting the modem as a " PCI serial controller ". When I tell it exactly where the correct drivers are ( downloaded from Zoltrix), it does not find them.

Can anyone advise please if it is possible to get Nforce2 hard disk controller drivers for Windows 98 SE. At the moment Device Manager is showing Dual PCI IDE Contoller. I've tried ASUS and Nvidia's sites for downloading drivers, however they just seems to be for serial ATA, audio, system managment, USB, GART etc .

After a few "fresh" XP Pro installs I am not able to fix the following driver problems: "Mass Storage Controller " and "Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller". I upgraded the chipset ( downloaded from Intel's site for PERL), which have modified the entry "Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller" to "Intel (R) 82801EB USB Universal Host Controller".
