Density Analysis True (skeletal) density is determined by automatic gas expansion pycnometer so there are no solubility issues as might be encountered with liquid pycnometers. A variety of gases are available, including (but not limited to) helium, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, sulfur hexafluoride.
