1. It is the basic rule. But once again I want to remind to use proper torque to tighten the connections. When you and your technicians are connecting new controller always verify the INPUT and OUTPUT connections twice.

Is there any advice you want to share with users to help them avoid common errors in selection or usage of motor controllers?

Answers:
Many controllers state they can output very high pulse rate, normally a few mega hz, but in fact a few hundred hz or less can satisfy most of the applications. Controllers with higher pulse rate normally are at higher price. Moreover, in order to use that high pulse rate, the total system cost will be increased as well. For example, twisted pair signalling cable with shielding should be used, motor drivers must accept differential signal input and supports very short pulse width (<0.5us for 1MHz, <0.05us for 10MHz).

It is very important to use the controller of motor, it improves the safety of motor, and increases availability of motor, and reduces the damage of motor to burn from the various conditions.
