Copper flotation cells with bubble type configuration (hydrostatic), float and sonic mirror in flotation cells, and direct froth measurement. Ore level in stock piles, or under cone primary crusher. Hot Sulfuric acid tank level with ultrasonic level transmitters inside a vertical pipe... deep wells with hydrostatic level transmitters.

Do you have any advice for people relative to buying or using level transmitters?

Eeeeemmmmm...Only basic recommendations... ultrasonic transmitters could be used to measure inside tanks with hot liquids, but a high power signal instrument shall be used... Same when too much dust is in the air... however, in this cases radar transmitters work better. Hydrostatic measurement could be used only if density is known and doesn't change... Ultrasonic transmitters work properly inside vertical pipes (for tanks), but usually you must adjust echo suppression for valves mounted in the same pipe, or for the tank's connections...
