More heat created by CPUs especially Dual Core CPUs. Equipment seems to be smaller and smaller. Original equipment rooms, if cooled, are getting too small and too much equipment is fitted into cabinets already too over-heated.

Some years ago it was very common to use fans in vacuums instead of vacuum pumps, in asbestos cement plants for example.

The disastrous mistake, in my view, is to NOT have any cooling in the first place.

There are many people making fans and blowers and they work but in extreme conditions they fail, these people usually don´t offer the curves of operation. Take care of that, go with the professionals, they give you technical assistance, not only in operation but in installation.
