Answers:
In cold forging the m/c available are capable of forging parts up to 30mm dia & 350mm long. Earlier it was up to 24mm dia & 200 mm length. Speed of m/c's, all m/c manufacturers are now making high speed m/c's (can be set as per your requirement). Earlier it was with three variable speeds like slow, medium & fast. Tooling area also lot of new technologies being developed. Gear splines are made on high speed m/c's. In oils, lot of studies & improvements have been done. Rolling, Sealant, Heat Treatment, sorting m/c's, packaging m/c's. Every area we can see lots of new technologies.
