Leave enough room in the original design of the AGV for efficient sizing of wheels and/or tires. Too often in the past customers of the AGV have been left paying a large amount for replacement wheels and tires because of under-engineering. I have been the benefactor.

Is there any advice you want to share with users to help them avoid common errors in selection or usage of an automatic guided vehicle?

Pay attention to the wheels and/or tires, do due diligence on the aftermarket situation before decisions are made. Too often this will be the sorest bruise when the honeymoon is over.

Don't oversize! Make sure that an AGV makes sense for the application - is it still more efficient with a forklift and driver, or would a conveyor or monorail work?

If it is running continuously more than 12hrs, battery as a power source should not be preferred.
