Since the test standards are continuously upgraded, it is important that new firmware upgrades allow testers to grow with the standards - there are products on the market, which get obsolete rather quick.

Know what the possible results would indicate...Open ckt, short ckt, how to connect to live circuit.. DO NOT OPEN A "CT" circuit...

Oblige the manufacturers to explain the applications of their safety testers according to the standards.
