The city of Rock Hill, SC is using the latest Parker variable speed drive technology to reduce energy consumption and to increase up-time in its wastewater treatment plants.

A brochure describes new colorimetric analyzers for online monitoring of aluminum, iron, and manganese in potable water. By adjusting the oxidant dose based on the concentrations of these substances, water treatment plants can save on energy and chemicals, according to the brochure.
