Traditional fabrics have been supplemented with specially developed materials to counter contaminants; from everyday rust, dust and dirt to weld spatter; and temperatures from -60°C to +250°C. Food grade materials are also available.

Split and Re-sealable Bellows

Where it is not possible or practical to dismantle equipment, sewn bellows can be supplied ready for fitting around a shaft. The split is closed after installation using a 'tape and clip' joint.

Our poppet valves are fully opening for high conductance and to prevent bellows and poppet contamination in semiconductor applications. Bodies are die-formed from 304 stainless steel to eliminate sharp inside corners and improve conductance. The valves are electropolished for faster pumpdown, lower outgassing and better corrosion resistance. The welded bellows are made from AM-350 stainless steel to provide corrosion resistance and excellent flexibility. They are designed with additional segments to provide extended life. Nor-Cal valves can be operated in any position and actuators can be removed quickly for routine inspection without disassembling the system.

Nor-Cal's poppet valves are available in most port configurations from .38 to 4.0 inch ODs with CF, NW, ISO or ASA flanges. Angle, Angle-In-Line, In-Line, Tee and Straight- Through valves through 3 inch OD's are all available with manual or pneumatic actuators and Viton® or copper seal bonnets. Sizes 4.0 inches and larger are available with pneumatic actuators only.

Lift Products MAX-Tilt & MAX-LIFT & TILT tables are designed for those applications where tilting or lift and tilting the load provides for improved access to the product. Tables available with 45, 60 or 90 degree tilt.

Both series are electric hydraulic with the 45 degree models powered up and gravity down while the 60 and 90 degree models are powered both up and down with double acting cylinders. With capacities of 2,000 - 6,000 lbs., the MAX-series table can handle most applications.
