The Hurricane Hand Chain Hoist featured a unique handwheel cover that rotates 360 degrees for hoist operation in any direction. It is ideal for special rigging applications.

The Hurricane Hand Chain Hoist also features a unique brake design. The single disc brake does not incorporate ratchet, pawls,or pawl springs as on other hand chain hoists. Includes load limiter.

Fewer parts mean less wear and low maintenance. It is easily disassembled, requiring no special tools.

Ideal for Food and Pharmaceutical Processing

Built from corrosion-resistant 304 and 316 series stainless steel, SSC series chain hoists are well-suited for lifting applications in wash-down, environmentally-controlled and corrosive processing environments. Available in standard capacities up to 2 metric tons, these units feature sealed gearing, food grade lubrication and stainless steel hooks, chain, frame and trolleys.

Electric Version for Repetitive Lifting

Electric powered SSC hoists feature push-button controls and are rated for H-4 operation or up to 30 minutes of use per hour. Manual and motorized trolleys permit hoist travel along monorails and bridge cranes. Two-speed and variable-speed units are also available.

Manual Hoists for Periodic Use

Featuring sealed gearing and oil bath lubrication, SSC manual chain hoists perform critical lifts even after long periods of inactivity in corrosive environments. Wastewater treatment plants, oil refineries and both food and pharmaceutical processors rely on SSC manual hoists that set a new standard for corrosion-resistant overhead lifting equipment.

The Lodestar Electric Chain hoist features lifting speeds up to 64 feet per minute and is available as a single, double, or triple revved unit. The gearing is designed for exceptionally long life and quiet operation. Harsh environment hoists are also available as are hoists with creep control for precise positioning.

Harsh environment hoists available for severe duty of plating, galvanizing, and washdown applications. Hoists with climbing capability for temporary rigging or lifting applications and used in inverted positions are a mainstay of the entertainment market. Hoists with creep control allow precise positioning through filed adjustment within the time delay range of .05 seconds to 3 seconds.

The SHA stamped steel, hand chain hoist is an excellent, lower cost option in the Yale line. The compact, lightweight design is ideal for construction and contractor applications where portability and easy rigging are critical.
