Know Your Indoor Environmental Quality The Personal AirTest Monitor (PM2200) is an affordable, air quality indicator provides the functionality of desktop clock and calendar with a continuous indication of three of the most important indicators of indoor environmental quality: carbon dioxide, humidity and temperature. CO2 is a recommended measurement parameter in green buildings. The Personal AirTest Monitor requires no maintenance or calibration and uses advanced sensor technology, previously only available in professional air quality diagnostic equipment. Key Features
- Displays CO2 in ppm and provides indication if the CO2 concentration means good, normal or poor air quality. CO2 is a common air quality measurement to determine if spaces are properly ventilated. When CO2 levels are high it is likely that other pollutants in the air will also be high.
- CO2 sensor is self calibrating and does not need maintenance.
- Provides an audible sound if CO2 level are unusually high, which may indicate excessive combustion fumes in the space or very poor ventilation
- Displays % RH and provides an audible alert if concentrations are higher than normally recommended for indoor spaces.
- Displays Temperature in ºF or ºC
- The PM2200 only provides a display of concentrations it does not provide an output that can be read by a control system of data logger.
Applications
- Monitor air quality in your home or office.
- Check outside levels of CO2 considered indicative of global warming.
- Professionals can use this device as a low cost screening tool to assess ventilation and humidity levels in a space. Also ideal as a customer thank you or promotional gift
- Can be used to determine potential energy savings possible by retrofitting with permanently installed CO2 sensors to control outside ventilation in commercial buildings.
- Educational tool for school courses and projects associated with green, sustainable buildings and energy savings initiatives.
Key Specifications

GE Sensing
GE Sensing Releases New CO2 Transmitters
GE Sensing—Telaire Products Releases a New Generation of CO2 Transmitters
More >>
GE Sensing—Telaire Products is excited to announce the release of a new generation of CO2 transmitters targeting indoor air quality and energy conservation applications. The VentostatÒ T8031 / T8041 Duct Mount and the AirestatÒ T5000 Series Wall Mount CO2 Transmitters offer accuracy and versatility at an affordable price. This exceptional product line touts an unobtrusive form factor that is easy to install, simple to use, and remains accurate over the expected life of the device utilizing Telaire's patented ABC LogicÔ (Automatic Background Calibration) technology.
"The new Telaire CO2 Transmitter product line represents a marked improvement in size, ease of use, and customer installation," says Dave Michels, Global Product Marketing Manager for Telaire Products. "We listen to our customers and deliver innovative solutions."
The technology is based on the absorption of light in a gold-plated reflective light pipe or waveguide diffusion gas chamber. A gas permeable Teflon filter prevents particulate and water contamination of the sensor. Light is absorbed in proportion to the CO2 concentration and the remaining light is measured and converted into an analog signal.
The Telaire product line offers patented ABC Logic™ - software for self-correction of drift to better than ±20 ppm per year. The system is virtually free of maintenance and typically has a lifetime of more than 10 years.
CO2 transmitters can be utilized in a broad range of applications including Air Quality monitoring in buildings. CO2 concentration levels in buildings are monitored to provide an indication of occupancy and to drive a ventilation control strategy. An effective DCV (Demand Controlled Ventilation) strategy will conserve energy and maintain indoor air quality.
The new VentostatÒ T8031 Duct Mount CO2 Transmitter is one of the smallest in-duct CO2 sensors on the market! Take advantage of this modest form factor to accommodate small diameter (6") HVAC return air ducts or utilize the T8041 Duct Mount Probe to measure CO2 concentrations in larger air ducts. Both products offer a standard analog 0 to 10 volt output, mounting hardware, and simple mounting instructions.
The Airestat T5000 Series Wall Mount CO2 Transmitter offers user definable thresholds and a visual limit LED indicator (green, yellow, & red) for measured CO2 concentrations. The T5000 series also provides a passive temperature and a standard analog 0 to 10 volt output. This device is an essential tool for maintaining an indoor air quality strategy for school classrooms, offices, and many other applications.
