This new CAM machining system can customize any one of the more than 525 standard Fibox enclosures. Featuring increased stability and higher precision, the system assures customers of high accuracy, repeatability from unit to unit, and smooth, high quality cut edges.

An innovative graphics converter, built into the new CAM system's software, makes it easy to accept files from different Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs and convert them to the proper machining instructions. For example, customers can supply files in Mastercam, DWG, DXF, or IGES. Other file formats are also possible. As well, Fibox can also develop the CAM files from customer supplied print drawings.

Fibox also offers assembly services to equip its enclosures with a wide range of Fibox accessories including cable management products, mounting plates, inspection windows, terminals, switches, and glands. The combination of custom machining and assembly services assures the Fibox customer minimum enclosure handling and offers a ready-to-use final product.

The PS3710A features a clear, concise 15-inch (XGA) TFT Touch screen display with an Intel® Pentium® M 1.6GHz processor, creating a powerful system for any production floor. Cooling Enhancements

The PS3710A uses a Pentium M processor that significantly lowers heat generation (by factor of 4) while providing similar performance to a Pentium 4 processor. Reducing the heat generation prolongs the life of sensitive components such as a hard drive.

When installing a high performance CPU equipped unit into an enclosure, extra care should be exercised to ensure that the ambient air around the unit (inside your enclosure, not outside the enclosure) does not exceed 50± C. Exceeding 50± C may cause premature degeneration of the unit.

Consult your enclosure manufacturer for proper sizing and/or cooling options (if necessary). The product specifications and ratings section of this datasheet contains information your enclosure manufacturer will require.
