The Earth-Rite PLUS provides positive verification of static ground connection on a wide range of industrial plant equipment,including tanker trucks, rail cars, drums, containers and other conductive equipment. The Earth-Rite PLUS can also control motorized pumps, valves, process control or alarm systems. A special capacitance monitoring Dual Mode version of the system designed specifically for road tanker trucks is also available.

The Earth-Rite FIBC ensures that Type C Super-sacks or Big Bags are correctly grounded and that the surface resistance of the flexible container is within the correct parameters before filling/discharging commences. The system may also be used on other static dissipative materials such as flexible drum linings and hose.

For specialised plant and machinery with several potentially isolated conductive components (such as dryers and pneumatic conveyors), the Earth-Rite MULTIPOINT provides static ground monitoring of up to 8 channels with operator feedback and interlock capability. For complex or larger-scale applications multiple systems may be grouped together to monitor more than 8 channels.

Model 2124 is a versatile, low cost ground resistance tester. While the standard package a contains a complete gound kit with rods for performing 2, 3 and 4 pole measurements the unit can be outfitted optionaly with two clamps adding specific earth resistance and current measurements. The clamps also allow stakeless measurement of existing grounding systems without the need to drive ground rods.

The 1000 point memory and RS232 with optional software lends itself to periodic maintenance and logging of multiple ground systems without the need for operator to keep manual records.

The Fluke 1623 and 1625 are distinctive earth ground testers that can perform all four types of earth ground measurement. Specifically, the Fluke 1623 and 1625 testers are able to measure earth ground loop resistances using only clamps – called Stakeless testing. This method doesn't require the use of earth ground stakes or the disconnection of ground rods.

Testing Methods

• 3- and 4-Pole Fall of Potential – standard earth ground testing using two ground stakes
• 4-Pole Soil Resistivity testing – determine soil resistivity using four ground stakes
• Selective testing – without disconnecting ground rods, a technician can measure ground resistance using a combination of stakes and a clamp.
• Stakeless testing – innovative solution using only clamps, instead of ground stakes, to measure earth ground loop resistance.

The Fluke 1625 offers these advanced features

• Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) – identifies existing interference and chooses a measurement frequency to minimize its effect, providing a more accurate earth ground value.
• R* measurement – calculates earth ground impedance at 55 Hz to more accurately reflect the earth ground resistance that a fault-to-earth ground would see.
• Adjustable limits – for quick test result verification.

Rugged and easy to use, its large interactive display informs the operator in real time about the type of measurement, range, calculation conditions (resistance calculated according to a reference temperature), thresholds status and values. Designed for harsh conditions in a hard Pélicase® type case with plastic washable keyboard and key-locked measurement plugs, the Wahl RM116 has 4 measurement wires providing the highest accuracy.

Other features include automatic measurement in non inductive resistance mode, and automatic triggering when continuity is established between the two points. A single operator can perform measurements. EMF parasites are measured before each measurement. Permanent measurement current for inductive loads (coils, transformers, motors windings). DC measurement current for non-inductive resistances (earth bonding, coating, contact resistances) with auto power off of the current. Display of temperature compensated resistance value. Resistance is automatically calculated by the instrument taking into account: measurement value, ambient temperature, metal temperature coefficient, and reference temperature. All parameters are programmable. (Ambient temperature can be programmed or measured with the temperature sensor). Two programmable thresholds with LED indication and display on the screen, light or loud beeper.
