SERPAC ELECTRONIC ENCLOSURES will customize your enclosure to meet your needs.

At Serpac, we can machine openings for your specified geometry. We can also machine internal features, such as removing or shortening circuit board bosses or card guides. Simply provide us with a drawing and we do the rest! There are no minimum quantities on machine modifications.

All Serpac enclosures are designed with customization in mind. Each enclosure has "Insert Areas" where a custom "I-Plate" can be made to your specification. Your modifications (characters, symbols, openings, and recesses) can therefore be molded into the box, cutting down your secondary operation costs. These I-Plates have a one time tooling charge and are owned by you, our customer. On some of our products we also have the ability to modify the height of internal bosses to accomodate your specific application. Minimum quantities for in-mold modifications are 500 pcs. with a setup charge, or 1,000 pieces with no setup.

Further customize your product by having us print your company logo, graphics, and text directly to your enclosure. Multiple color printing jobs are easily handled. All we need is a positive mirror image of your artwork on clear film. There are no minimum quantities for pad printing.

You don't need a metal box to shield EMI. Serpac offers two different methods for shielding. Our most common method is to spray the interior of the enclosure with a conductive paint. Our standard spray is nickel based, but we can also coat the enclosures in graphite, copper, and silver. (Prices may vary depending on material used.) There are no minimums when spraying an enclosure. Our second method for shielding and enclosure is to mold it in a conductive plastic. There is a minimum order of 500 pcs. Orders in quantities less than 1,000 incur a setup charge.

If you require a custom color, simply send us a color chip or specify a Pantone number. There is a minimum order of 500 pcs for custom colors. Orders in quantities less than 1,000 incur a setup charge.
