Cast AlNiCo alloy magnet

Alnico alloys are composed primarily of Cobalt, Nickel, and Aluminum with the addition of Iron, Copper, and sometimes Titanium that helps make them become stronger permanent magnets. They can be magnetized to produce strong magnetic fields. Alnico magnets produce magnetic fields with strength at their poles as high as 1500 gauss.

Alnico magnets produce magnetic fields with strength at their poles as high as 1500 gauss, or about 3000 times the strength of the earth's magnetic field.

Cast Alnico can be processed to be intricate and complex shapes to meet customer's demand .Some types of Alnico are isotropic, meaning they can be efficiently magnetized in any direction. Other types, such as Alnico 5 and Alnico 8 are anisotropic, meaning they have a preferred direction of magnetization, orientation. Anisotropic magnets generally have a greater magnetic capacity in their preferred orientation than isotropic. Anisotropic Alnico magnets are oriented by heating them above a critical temperature, and cooling them in the presence of a magnetic field.

Unlike casted Alnico magnets, sintered Alnico magnets offer lower magnetic properties but better mechanical characteristics. Mixes of metal powders are pressed to shape and size, and then sintered at 2300oF in a hydrogen atmosphere. The sintering process is well suited to large volume production, and results in parts that are structurally stronger than cast magnets. Relatively close tolerances can be achieved without grinding.

Why we choose Alnico magnet?

1. High energies and relatively low coercivity.

2. Excellent ability to withstand extreme temperatures stability (as high as 500°C, 930°F)

3. High magnetic flux density, and resistance to demagnetization from vibration and shock.

4. Typical Applications for Alnico Magnets.

Widely used in instruments and meters that requires very stable temperature properties.

Sintered Ndfeb magnets are common used in wind generator. We process different size of Ndfeb magnet block which assembly into clients' wind generators. These sintered Ndfeb magnet are good at its anti-corrosion, long time working under strict environment. We supply our special sintered Ndfeb (low lost weight sintered Ndfeb) which design and manufacturing to our wind generator clients. Also, we can cooperate with our wind generator clients to produce sintered Ndfeb customized by their thoughts. Certainly, these magnets also can be used in different DC motors which work under atrocious weather.

Diesel Generator Sets Powered by the C175 Engine

Caterpillar Inc. introduces a new line of diesel-fueled generator sets in the 2-4MW power range. This new line builds on the success of the Caterpillar® 3500 series of generator sets, a proven industry leader. It is powered by the new Cat® C175 centerline engine–the first to offer up to 4MW of power in a single high-speed package.

The new family of diesel generator sets provides superior performance, reliability and durability in standby, prime, continuous and load management applications. 12-, 16- and 20-cylinder models will be available with respective 64-, 85- and 106- liter displacements. Incorporating Caterpillar ACERT™ Technology, the new C175 engine design provides emissions compliance without sacrificing power density or fuel economy. An ADEM™ A4 Electronic Control Module, the Cat Common Rail Fuel System and cross-flow cylinder heads comprise the building blocks of ACERT Technology.

The SR5 generator––available in low, medium and high voltages––has been specifically designed for the C175 engine platform. The generator's insulation system meets Class H insulation system requirements and features either a traditional permanent magnet excitation, or a new internal excitation option. Two types of radiator packages, a horizontal remote and vertical radiator, are also available for the C175.

About Georator Corporation:

Georator Corporation was founded in 1950, traditionally designing and manufacturing electrical frequency converters (permanent magnet generators and motor-generator sets) for industrial and government applications. Application for the Company's products range across all equirements to test or run equipment at a Hertz (Cycles per Second) other than US domestic 60 Hz. The Company's products are renowned for their reliability and longevity, many having been in continuous service for over twenty years with only minor maintenance required.

In more recent times, the company has introduced several lines of solid state (electronic) devices, both to the frequency conversion market, and to the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) market. These lines offer alternatives to the traditional rotary frequency converter units, providing precision and flexibility required for some applications. Georator strives to provide the same high quality to these solid state frequency converter devices, as it has in the past to the rotary units.
