92A TPU adds an additional 2mm of wear resistance to HabaSYNC® timing belts. This makes HabaSYNC® timing belts the perfect choice for the infeed of sheet metal and for product movement of metal stamped parts and scrap metals.

Depending on the size of the product being moved, single or multiple strand belts on a common drive provide the needed speed control required in applications along with wear resistance and shock absorption. HabaSYNC® belts move parts from the stamping press to other down line processes such as inspection, storage, or packaging operations. HabaSYNC® belts are also used to move scrap metals created in the blanking and forming process. HabaSYNC® timing belts can be joined endless or made for field installation.

Providing high density compaction, the PaceSetter II is "The Solid Solution" for metal chip processing that transforms metal scrap into profit. Prab provides eight (8) models of chip briquetting machines to process aluminum, brass, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, select exotic metals, alloys, and even swarf. Processing rates will vary by material and its physical state / wetness but on average you can expect to process from 150 to 4000 lbs of aluminum per hour and from 360 to 6500 lbs of cast iron or steel per hour (given a semi-dry shovel-grade chip).

Chemical milling can be used to preferentially remove steel, oxides or other contaminants from scrap material allowing the reclamation of valuable alloys.

Tech Met can use chemical milling methods for the removal of remnants of steel tooling from extrusion or HIP consolidated scrap, revert or end cutoffs. This can normally be done with minimal loss of the parent material. These methods may also be used for the removal of tramp metal contamination or surface oxide contamination.

Typical applications include removal of oxides from titanium, steel can removal from HIP'ed hign temperature alloy components or removal of steel tooling embedded in Inconel alloy billet end cutoffs.

Complete removal of these contaminants allows the recovery of these high value materials without degradation of their composition.
