Situation: Exterior brick pavers were faded, due to constant sun exposure. The surface was difficult to keep clean. Paver surface was 'dusting' causing a faded appearance.

Solution: Apply two coats of MicroGuard® AD703 Clear to seal surface from moisture & prevent dusting, control surface staining, inhibit gum adhesion, make cleaning easier & rejuvenate original color.

Results: Surface is now easier to clean and maintain, and is protected from further fading and dusting. The color was restored and enhanced to a like new condition. The surface is protected from staining and discoloration. An additional benefit is that mold & mildew growth on the treated surface is mitigated.

Adsil manufactures several MicroGuard^® products that can be applied onto bare concrete or other masonry surfaces, such as brick, pavers, decorative stone, stucco or concrete/polymer blends. These product finishes can be used for either interior or exterior surfaces and Adsil has designed products for both horizontal and vertical applications.

For concrete type surfaces where graffiti is a problem, Adsil has developed MicroGuard^® AD00 Anti-Graffiti Clear Surface Treatment. This clear, inorganic, cross-link cured product is a non-sacrificial anti-graffiti coating. Its tightly knit film structure will not allow penetration of common graffiti material, so it lifts more easily from the surface.

MicroGuard^® AD702 Sealer may also be applied prior to the application of MicroGuard^® AD703 Concrete Clear Treatment, as part of a complete system. When used as a sealer/finish system on concrete type horizontal surfaces, these products provide maximum abrasion, ablation and chemical resistance properties. Both the AD702 Sealer and the AD703 Gloss Finishing Treatment can be used for interior or exterior applications.

Memorial Blocks at the San Francisco Giants main stadium entrance had turned black and were very difficult to read, clean and maintain.

Solution: Treated with MicroGuard® AD702 Sealer and AD703 Concrete & Tile Treatment.

Result: Tiles remain clean; names are easy to read; blocks are protected from degradation & discoloration and are easier to clean and maintain. Constant abrasive wear from foot traffic has not deteriorated the paver surface.
