These cutters are equally suited for small, flexible or rigid profiles, such as edgebands, weather-stripping, and plastic trim. Models with servo drive systems increase cutting accuracy and provide consistent torque across multiple speed ranges.

CDS's traveling up-cut extrusion saws can be programmed to cut rigid and semi-rigid profiles and pipes with high precision using a built-in length controller. The table travel speed is self-adjusting and is designed not to interfere with the profile's advancement. The blade travel, clamping system, and product guides are all adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of profiles. The saw's brushless servo motor (CSS series) delivers greater cutting accuracy and consistent torque across multiple speed ranges.

CDS is proud to introduce the CFPC series Planetary Cutter to its family of cut-to-length products. Designed to cut tubular extrudates, the Planetary Cutter's cutting assembly travels with the product while the blade makes its incision. The Planetary Cutter operates without any debris or dust, and can be equipped with a dead stop assembly for greater cutting precision. In-line and off-line models are available.

- Capacity: From 1/4" to 8" O.D. (Wall thickness up to 3/16")
- Cuts/min: 60 (line speed of approx. 20 ft/min)
- Cut-to-length accuracy: ± 0.010" per ft.
