For higher volume production applications, Avure Autoclave Systems offers a full line of ClPs with quick and reliable automated operation. Threadless pin closure models are typically quoted for vessels with work zones up to 24" in diameter. Pin closures offer some unique advantages over breech-type closures, including longer fatigue life and straight closure removal to prevent galling.

For larger work zones and maximum cycle life, Quintus® wire wound pressure vessels with yoke-and-frame closures are recommended. These heavy duty models are designed for a minimum of 300,000 cycles, and their prestressed construction provides maximum operator safety, easy loading and unloading, and less overall weight for easier installation at the site. Standard models are offered, or a model can also be custom configured to meet your needs. Contact Flow Autoclave with your requirements.

The Alexanderwerk Combi-Vent Feed system provides accurate control of the material flow to the rollers, while allowing displaced air to vent via the rear secion of the hooper, thereby improving the quality of the compact produced and increasing the throughput efficiency of the roller compaction process. Increases as high as 200% of the intial rate have been achieved. The system is particularly adventageous for light bulk density materials.

Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) is a process that uniquely combines pressure and temperature to produce materials and parts with substantially better properties than other methods. The pressure medium is an inert gas, normaly Argon. Low temperature and high isostatic pressure, up to 300 MPa (3000 bar/44,000 psi), yield better controlled grain growth and structure as well as isotropic properties, which result in the superior performance characteristics typical for HIP'ed parts.

HIP applications include defect healing of castings, consolidation of metal powder (pre-form and near-net shaped parts), consolidation of ceramic powders, and sintering of diamond tools.
