The housing design of the NEW Stainless Steel 700 Series incorporates key features critical to the food processing industry to maintain optimal performance in the toughest caustic environments. These features include:

• Rounded housing that eliminates all flat surfaces,
• Covers for all counter-bored holes, including motor, flange, base, and inset fill and drain holes,
• Laser-marked name plate information, ensuring worry-free part identification without indentations on the housing.

The new Stainless Steel 700 Series takes that trusted performance to new levels by providing maximum corrosion resistance in challenging, caustic washdown environments in the food and beverage industry.

Utilizing the trusted 700 Series worm gearing combined with a new, innovative exterior design, the new Stainless Steel 700 Series' performance has been optimized to withstand the harshest caustic conditions. The housings, motor flange, and carrier are crafted from 316SS to endure tough, caustic washdowns. The integral input worm and shaft are made from high-strength, case-hardened alloy steel for long-lasting performance.

The rounded housing design, plastic hardware covers, and two-piece mounting base prevent particle accumulation or fluid pooling on or under the unit. The two-piece mounting base has the same footprint of the standard 700 Series for easy replacement. The large internal oil reservoir is filled with H1 food-grade lubricant (Klubersynth UH 1 6-460) and sealed for life, providing a wide range of operating temperatures and extended wear life.

TIGEAR-2

The TIGEAR-2 adds four new sizes, for a total of 10 in all, covering center distances from 1.33" to 4.75". It has a 30% increase in average output torque (up to 6,800 in-lbs.). Because of the consistent torque capacity increments between case sizes, equipment designers can optimize reducer size selections for cost, performance, and life.

The new totally enclosed, ventless sealing system contains a new factory-filled synthetic lubricant that actually runs cooler, as well as eliminates the need for routine oil changes. Its new precision manufactured gear geometry balances multiple gear parameters for dramatic improvements in torque capacity, efficiency, and operating temperatures. Tigear-2 offers higher efficiencies, cooler running temperatures, and longer gear wear life that translates into longer reducer life and a much lower Total Cost of Ownership.

TIGEAR-2 is dimensionally interchangeable with current TIGEAR reducers, as well as many competitive models; plus, it still delivers the same high performance benefits as the original TIGEAR.

TIGEAR-2 is the only worm reducer with the new GRIP TIGHT™ tapered bushing system.

The AD series gearbox is available in three frame sizes and provides rated output torque from 40 Nm up to 200 Nm, peak torque from 60 Nm up to 400 Nm, 12 standard ratios from 4:1 up to 90:1, and can be delivered in two weeks or less.

Onvio's AL gearbox features a one piece steel housing with a hardened integral crown gear which provides higher torque in a smaller diameter. Two large output bearings provide excellent support of radial and moment loads.

The AL gearbox is available in four frame sizes with rated output torque from 6 Nm up to 100 Nm.
