Pre-Dry Fabrics - Woven, Knitted and Non-Woven
Casso-Solar Infrared Pre-Drying Systems are being used for standard and hard to handle fabrics such as flocked goods, non-woven synthetics and upholstery materials. Systems combine infrared with sufficient supply and exhaust air to provide overall efficiencies of 70-85%. Energy is safely removed from the product on line stoppage through the use of fast responding quartz heaters or through the use of a time proven mechanical retraction system. Casso-Solar heaters concentrate their power in the useful wavelength regions where water absorbs best, resulting in the needed increased line speed. Temperature uniformities can be controlled to +/- 2 degrees F across the width of the product. predryers can be designed for use on horizontal or vertical tentor frames and between rolls prior to tentoring.
Pre-Heating/Post-Heating Fabrics for Laminating, Bonding or Heat Setting
Casso-Solar Infrared Pre-Heat/Post-Heat Systems can be sued to quickly raise the temperature of a fabric for laminating, bonding or heat setting. Pre-Heat systems can accelerate the production of traditional thermobonding calender systems. Multiple zones across the width of the fabric can compensate for non-uniformities created by other equipment within the process line. Scanning non-contact temperature measuring systems can provide feedback for automatic control. Systems can be located prior to and after existing equipment.
Heat Setting Synthetic Fabrics
Heat setting synthetic fabrics is accomplished on open width or tubular fabrics. Open width fabrics are controlled on a pin tentor frame and tubular goods are controlled with a spreader bar. Energy from the Casso-Solar Infrared Heaters is concentrated in only the most useful; wavelengths reducing overall system length. On some fabrics such as polyester, textile, hand and appearance can be precisely controlled. Shrinkage is kept at a minimum and fabrics can be uniformly processed without concern for color or discoloration. Fabric temperatures are controlled within +/- 2 degrees to insure product quality and repeatability

Kwik-Lok™ Lifting Pins combine the convenience of a positive-locking pin, push button release design with a 5 to 1 strength factor to provide confident lifting. The lifting pins are 100% stainless steel, with a 17-4 PH stainless steel forged lifting ring to resist corrosion in harsh environments. The rings' large opening accommodates a wide range of lifting hooks or hardware.
A load spreader bar on each of the rings helps to prevent accidental actuation. A wide range of pins is available in both inch and metric sizes. In inches, nominal pin diameters range from 1/4 " to 5/8" and grip lengths range from 0.5 to 3.00". (Grip length is the thickness of the part being lifted.) Maximum lifting loads are from 400 to 1400 lbs. Metric lifting pins are available with nominal pin diameters of 10 to 16 mm, grip lengths of 15 to 75 mm, and maximum lifting loads from 4.4 to 6.2 kN. All Kwik-Lok products are made in the USA of domestically produced materials. For applications where the required hole size cannot be achieved, threaded receptacles are available in both inch and metric sizes. The introduction of Kwik-Lok Lifting pins represents the merging of two significant Jergens product technologies, as the company is a major manufacturer of lifting hardware and a major maker of quick release pins.

Build secure industrial wireless data links between RTUs, PLCs, I/O Expanders, controllers and sensors over distances of up to 40 miles or over highly obstructed shorter links using Synetcom's 1 Watt Serial SCADA Radio Modem. Link RTU or PLC based SCADA systems using wireless serial RS485 data multidrop connections.
The DIN-S-9-HP serial spread spectrum radio modem operates license free in the 902 - 928 MHz band. RS232 or multidrop RS485 or RS422 serial data port modes are selected via a DIP switch. The DB-9 serial port is software configurable from 1,200 baud to 115.2 Kbaud. Serial data is sent over an error-protected, encrypted digital radio link (256AES encryption) using long range Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS). Industrial I/O points (4-20 mA, Discretes, Relays) can be added using the Radio Telemetry I/O Expander.

Overview
Synetcom's 1 Watt Serial SCADA Radio Modem can be used to link SCADA devices such as PLCs. The radio delivers transparent error-free serial data in adverse industrial environments, even with other in band interference (other nearby spread spectrum radios).
Simpler SCADA systems are easily constructed without PLC and RTU devices by connecting the 1 Watt SCADA Radio Modem to Synetcom's Radio Telemetry I/O Expander module. The combination creates high I/O count 4-20 mA current loop, discrete and relay connections between sites without cables, PLCs (and associated PLC programming expenses). As few as one I/O point between a pair of locations can be easily and incrementally expanded to many I/O points between many locations. Only one 1 Watt SCADA Radio Modem is required at each site. No programming is required.
Installation
The Serial SCADA Radio Modems are shipped factory-configured and tested. There is no field configuration necessary. Typical installation involves simply mounting and powering the units and connecting the antennas and serial ports.
Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum
The 1 Watt 900 MHz Radio Modem utilizes frequency hopping spread spectrum with advanced protocols that greatly increase the communications reliability in high noise and interference environments.
PLC and RTU Networking
Point to point or point to multipoint communication between Modbus host and field PLC or RTU remotes is supported with one serial Radio Modem at each location.
Repeaters
Radio Modem repeaters are used wherever either distance or major obstructions cause the radio signals to be weak. In large facilities, the repeater is typically located at the highest point so that coverage is obtained everywhere. The control room only needs radio coverage to the repeater, greatly simplifying installation and guaranteeing low data latency - unlike meshed systems which can have very high latency. The repeater consists of a pair of 1 Watt SCADA Radio modems in a null data connection. Data is processed through the Repeater in digital form so sensor reading accuracy is never affected.

Software-free configuration support
The Parani-SD series has Software-free configuration support via an external dip-switch. Using this switch, serial port parameters can be easily configured without host computer. Once the pair is established, communication between the two Parani-SD devices should be relatively seamless.

Bluetooth 1.2 Protocol Stack
The Parani-SD series has the strength of Bluetooth 1.2 Protocol Stack that includes Adaptive Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (AFH), which improves resistance to radio frequency interference by avoiding using crowded frequencies in the hopping sequence. In addition, the Parani-SD series probes and connects to serial devices at a faster rate.
Package
The Parani-SD product line has a 9 pin female DB-9 connector, uses a stub antenna, and supports the General access and Serial port profiles. The Parani-SD100 is a Class 1 type and Parani-SD200 is a Class 2 type adapters. Both are Bluetooth 1.2 compliant devices.
Wireless Transmit Range
With no drivers required, the Parani-SD Bluetooth serial adapter is developed for long-range wireless serial communications. Transmit range can be extended up to 1 kilometer when using the optional patch antenna.
