StellarNets' high performance UV-VIS fiber optic spectrometer covers the wavelength range from 190-850nm, or optionally 250-900nm . The units are exceptionally robust with no moving parts and are packaged in small rugged metal enclosures (2.75 x4 x6 inch) for portable, process, and lab applications.

The BLACK-Comet spectrometers utilize a 40 mm diameter concave grating with aberration correction to provide superb imaging. This significantly improves spectral shapes by eliminating comma and stigmatism found in plane grating spectrograph designs. The flat field spectrograph architecture does not utilize mirrors, and therefore provides the lowest possible stray light in the UV with additional assistance from the holographic line grating. A multi-band filter is integrated into the spectrograph to provide order sorting and prevent optical aliasing. The optical signal is input via single strand fiber optic cable into a standard SMA-905 connector.

The AvaSpec Multi-channel spectrometer is available with more than 9 detector arrays and 18 gratings supporting the range from 190-2500 nm. Detector options include 128 pixel PDA, 256 & 1024 pixel CMOS, 3648 & 2048 pixel CCD and three 256 element InGaAs (1.7, 2,2, 2.5). Grating and slit choices enable resolution as high as 0.025 nm (FWHM). The system will support 2 to 10 channel configuration with true simultaneous signal acquisition across all channels. Spectrometer channels can be redundant or sequential over a range but all channels are simultaneously visible and controllable from the AvaSoft software platform.

EPP2000 BLUE-Wave
Range 190-1150nm
The newly released StellarNet BLUE-Wave Spectrometers are fiber optic coupled instruments with a wide selection of models for measurements in 190-1150nm wavelength ranges. Each unit contains a USB interface with a snap shot memory to provide instantaneous spectral image from the highly sensitive CCD with options for 2048 or 3648 elements. Various models provide a choice of grating range and slit resolutions. New and improved electronics with a high speed 16-bit digitizer allows for fast data acquisition and a signal to noise of 1000:1!

StellarNet, Inc. has announced its BLACK-Comet series of Concave Grating Spectrometers. The use of an aberration corrected, holographic concave grating uses no mirrors to minimize stray light, while projecting a flat field on the detector and providing uniform resolution over the entire range. Additionally, the grating has a dual blaze to giving high efficiency in both the UV and NIR wavelengths with 4 wide ranges available. The units are vibration tolerant, durable over long periods of time, and suitable for just about any lab and/or field measurement

StellarNet has announced a new high performance, high resolution, broadband spectrometer for the 200-1050nm range. The optics include a UV enhanced 2048 pixel CCD detector with a special composite grating that has no moving parts to provide 0.75nm resolution with a 14um slit at a surprisingly low cost. An integrated order sorting filter allows the broadband instrument to be spectroradiometrically calibrated for precision measurement of absolute light intensities.

The portable spectrometer is smaller than your shoe, and is packaged in a rugged enclosure that has an SMA905 fiber optic input. It can be attached directly to a computers high speed USB (1 or 2) port, or high speed IEEE1284 parallel port. Numerous other models provide variety of operational ranges and optical resolutions down to 0.1nm, suitable for spectroscopy applications such as chemical and optical analysis,spectroradiometry, spectrocolorimetry, UV spectrum analysis, remote sensing, and process control monitoring.
