Each can be used as a desktop recorder, or with the optional mounting kit, as a wall mount recorder. A large platen area makes note taking a breeze. And with a variety of measuring ranges available using optional Plug-In Input Modules, the 1240 Series provides both versatility and flexibility in a cost-effective and space efficient package. Flexibility begins with a measurement capability provided by the standard configuration that includes a plug-in single module with independent ,17 switch-selectable measuring ranges from 1mV to 200V full scale for each channel/pen. Optional plug-in signal input modules are available for measuring a single fixed range of Voltage selected from 1 mV to 200 full scale or Current from 1uA to 500 mA full scale. Also optionally available are multi-range signal input modules for Current and a choice of Thermocouple signal input modules with three (3) switch-selected ranges for Temperature measurements. This workhorse Model 1240 Series of Flatbed Chart Recorders offers reliability and versatility second to none. A built-in DC calibrator allows full-scale calibration. Each channel is provided with a variable range vernier that expands the fixed recording range by 2.5X. There are 24 switch selectable chart speeds with a fast paper advance mode allowing rapid repositioning of the chart, a superimposed event marker on all pens, and an audible as well as visual chart end alarm. The chart drive can be switched on or off as required, and individual channel pen lifts along with disposable fiber-tip pens offer clear, sharp, and continuous recording. The 1240 Series of Flatbed Chart Recorders offers a wealth of features and configuration options, making it the obvious choice when your application requires high reliability, configuration flexibility, and expendables availability. These analog recorders continue to remain an extremely popular choice given the world of digital that surrounds them. Contact SOLTEC today to discuss your application and our best-fit solution.

DR 5000 Thermal is a circular 10" chart recorder
The DR 5000 Thermal "Print your Own Chart" is a one or two channel microprocessor based thermal print chart recorder.
Similar to the DR5000 Ink Style Recorder, operator interface & configuration are simple with a status LED providing all operational information.
How does a Thermal Recorder work? A single stylus printhead produces up to two analog traces and prints data on a blank heat sensitive chart.
What are the Performance benefits of a Thermal vs. ink style recorders?
- With two channel unit, both traces share the same "Time Line" thereby eliminating pen alignment errors consistent with ink type chart recorders.
- Trace error due to variations between paper chart suppliers is eliminated.
- Expansion & Contraction of chart paper caused by variations in ambient temperature and humidity effect accuracy of traditional ink style recorders. Chart paper variations do not affect the Thermal as all trace, scale, time and divisions are printed by the thermal print head.
Options include configurable alarm outputs, Nema 4 [Nema 3 is standard], LED process value display with Non-cataloged options for low voltage operation, input ranges, transmitter power supplies, etc. are also available.
- Operator Ease of Use:
One Chart to stock
No Pens to change or order.
Time, Date, chart ranges, input types are automatically printed on blank charts.
- Standard Input & Output
Power Input: 120 or 220VAC standard. Contact factory for low VAC or VDC inputs.
Universal process input: thermocouple, RTD, mA or VDC.
- Recorder Configuration:
No Instruction Manual required
No DIP-switches to set
No cryptic display prompts
Unit self documents configuration.
- Recorder Chart Configuration:
Configure Recorder for new or custom chart range in minutes.
Configuration is quick & easy with the microcomputer calculating all major & minor chart divisions.
- Chart Range & Rotation:
Configurable to any range from -999 to +9999
Configurable rotations: 8, 12, 24, 72 hour & 7-day.
- Case Size:
Industry standard panel cut-out
Nema 3 with optional Nema 4

DESCRIPTION The Krohn-Hite Model 511 Precision DC Source/Calibrator is a secondary standard that is highly stable and repeatable from ±100nVdc to ±10Vdc, providing N.I.S.T. traceable voltages for use in production, calibration labs, QA and QC departments, design labs, or any place where an accurate voltage is needed.
Using Krohn-Hite's state-of-the-art reference, the 511 provides extremely accurate (±10ppm) and stable (±2ppm for 24 hours) voltages over 3 ranges, allowing the output to be set from ±100nVdc to ±11.11110Vdc with a resolution of 1ppm of range.
The Model 511 is an extremely quiet source with <5µV of noise measured from 0.1Hz to 100kHz. Maximum load current is 100mA on all ranges.
RANGES The 511 also provides 3 voltage ranges, ±100mV, ±1.0V and ±10V allowing the user to set the output from ±100nVdc to ±11.11110Vdc. Resolutions are 100nV, 1µV and 10µV respectively.
APPLICATIONS The Model 511 can be used in many applications including the calibration of precision A/D converters, strip chart recorders and calibration of Kaye Instruments Data Logging Systems.
