As always, the most cutting-edge, innovative products in the display world will be showcased during the three-day exhibition portion of SID's signature event, which will take place June 4-9, 2006 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, USA. As of April 26, 285 companies have booked 570 booths for SID 2006, occupying more than 57,000 square feet of space, according to Danielle Rocco, Exhibit Sales Director for Palisades Convention Management Inc. This represents an increase from SID 2005 in Boston, where 254 companies occupied 555 booths-this had been the largest exhibition in the four-decade-plus history of the event. Included among the exhibitors at SID 2006 are 53 companies that will be exhibiting at SID for the first time or will be returning after not exhibiting at SID for the past several years. These companies, which cover just about every aspect of the display industry, hail from 10 different countries and represent the growing worldwide interest in the display industry.
