Coal has always been the main source of energy in China. There are more than 100, 000 coal mines around the country, and hundreds of thousands workers engage in coal production. However, due to poor technology and lack of safety measurements, accidents often take place, such as gas explosion, roof collapse, water eruption under well, absence of oxygen and so on, which severely threatens workers' lives and also causes great loss to the country. To protect coal workers' lives, it's urgent to improve coal production technology and safety monitoring measurements.
